Automated Cohesion Tester (Custom Built Coal Testing System)

This is a custom-built automated cohesion tester, previously used for field testing of coal materials. The system is designed to perform consolidation and uniaxial unconfined testing on coal samples. The unit is fitted with a load cell rated at approximately 1–2 kN and includes a Siemens control unit with step controller. Please note; the control system requires programming and setup. This system was originally built for the Coal Authority, with a limited number of similar units produced.
