Thermo Scientific SORVALL RC 6+ Centrifuge

This item was removed from a facility where it was surplus to requirement. The unit powers on and was able to cool down to 4°C during testing; however, a noticeable electrical burning smell developed during operation. The start capacitor became excessively warm and there appears to be an issue relating to the cooling system circuitry, possibly involving a faulty relay or capacitor control fault. Due to these faults, the unit is being sold for spares or repair.
